STEP 1 REQUEST
  1. In order to guarantee your reservation, you should complete the form provided at each section of our website.  
  2. Always confirm prices since they may vary from quotation day to the confirmation day due to changes in the market (gasoline
    prices, changes in tickets´ fee, etc.) that are out of our control.
  3. Please verify your email and phone number before submitting the request.
  4. If  you do not receive an email or call from our staff in 48 hours, please resend information.
STEP 2 AVAILABILITY
  1. Upon receipt of your request, we will verify if selected date(s) are available.
  2. If the date is available, we will notify you through email.
  3. You should contact us via email confirming your decision and method of  payment.  You should not send any payment through
    PayPal unless you receive our confirmation email.
STEP 3 PAYMENT REQUIREMENT
  1. We will proceed to send you an email with confirmation of selected date with all necessary information for pick-up or meeting point
    instructions on selected activity.
STEP 5 CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT
  1. Please remember that all deposits are non-refundable, unless we are unable to offer the tour due to reasons out of control,
    such as hurricane, earthquake, or political issues in our territory.
  2. Written notice is required for all cancellations.  Please read which cancellation policy applies to your reservation since it could
    vary depending on type of service.  This information is included in your Invoice.
  3. No refunds for last minute cancellations or no show at tour or pick-up hotel/port.
  4. Refunds, if applicable, will be made directly through PayPal to your credit card.  
  5. If you paid by mail, you will receive the refund through regular mail.
  6. Always ask for cancellation policy for groups or tour packages.

  1. Prices on this website or documents are subject to change without notice.  Please confirm price by written before booking a tour.
  2. Prices are effective on November 1 of each year.   We will keep our tour prices competitive, but there will be a surcharge due to
    fluctuation on gasoline or diesel costs.

  1. AdvenTours is not responsible for the loss, damage, theft of luggage or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accidents or
    illness.
  2. For your protection, it is important and strongly recommended that you have or purchase adequate insurance, including trip
    cancellation and interruption of trip through your authorized travel agent.
  1. Due to the nature of our tours and our company policy, smoking is not permitted under any circumstances during our meals,
    meetings or tours.  New regulations for smokers have been established by the Government.  
  2. Drivers and tour guides are not allowed to smoke at any moment.  If one of our guides or driver smoke during a tour, please email
    us.
STEP 9 INSURANCE

  1. The only way we promote our tours is through the Internet, travel agents, tour wholesalers, and brochures of the Puerto Rico
    Tourism Board. All the information in our website is updated constantly.
  2. For maximum enjoyment of your tour, you should be in a good physical and mental health, able and willing to actively participate in
    solo or group events, and to walk and move about when the tour visits places of interest which can be reached only on foot, and
    able to participate in van, boat, kayak or bike trips.
  3. Trip participants who required any form of assistance must be accompanied by a travel companion who is capable of, and totally
    responsible for, providing assistance.
  4. Because our programs required walking and due to space restrictions, customized tours for the handicapped can be made.
  5. Our staff will serve you in all matter pertaining to the tour operation and will ensure that you have a carefree and enjoyable trip.
    This does not apply to self-guided tours or packages where you travel on your own.
  6. A comprehensive sightseeing program is included as indicated in each itinerary. Please note that when we see or view are
    specified in the itinerary, it denotes an outside view. Visit or short stop at usually includes entry.
  7. It should also be noted that there are attractions which require walking to observe and enjoy.
  1. A non-refundable deposit will be requested as follows:

  • 025% of the tour - Non-refundable deposit upon reservation.
  • 050% of the tour - Non-refundable deposit with reservation two weeks in advance.
  • 100% of the tour - Non-refundable deposit with reservation one week or less in advance.

  1. You can pay either with a credit card using Paypal system or by regular mail (only money orders are allowed).
  2. Balance is due one week in advance on individual or solo travel. Tours will not be honored if we do not receive complete payment
    as per these terms unless special agreement (groups) has been approved and signed by us.
  3. No trip or tour will be honored if the balance due has not been received; henceforth, late payment will result in automatic
    cancellation of requested services and the date will be reopened for another customer.
  1. If you are paying your deposit with credit card, we will proceed to invoice you through PayPal.  When we use this method, we do not
    need to ask you for your credit card information.  We only ask for credit card number to guarantee kayak tours since we depend on
    weather conditions to offer the trips.
  2. As soon as you receive PayPal email, you should follow their instructions.
  3. We will hold the date for two (2) days.  We do not guarantee or book any tour unless we receive a non-refundable deposit or
    full payment within two days.  Remember we work with a first come, first serve basis.
  4. Balance due to be paid on site, cash or traveler cheques only.
  5. On multi-day programs, we require a full day non-refundable deposit.  Terms an balance will vary depending on the total
    number of activities/days.
  6. For tour packages or group payment options, please contact us.
  7. Please remember that once we book a private tour for you, we will not sell trip for the same day and time for the
    Guide, Driver or vehicle we have assigned to offer your tour.
  8. When you complete PayPal form, we will receive an email from them with a receipt of your payment.    
  9. If you don´t have a credit card or prefer to pay with a money order (sorry, no personal checks), you can send your payment
    through regular mail.
  10. Transfers or any bank charge are on the expense and responsibility of client, travel, or tour wholesaler.
STEP 4 INVOICING
CANCELED TOURS

  • If for any reason we must withdraw an advertised departure on which you are booked and you are unable to accept alternate tour
    which will be offered, all monies paid to us on the canceled tour will be refunded.

CANCELLATIONS (after departure)  

  • There can be no adjustment for unused portions of a program unless arrangements have been made with our company prior to
    departure.
  • Refunds will not be made for unused tours or meals.
  • If you must return home during your tour, or if we must terminate the tour due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be
    refunded the net funds that we can recover from contractors for the services not used.
  • Applications for any refund must be made in writing to us within 5 days of tour termination.
TRANSPORTATION

  1. Some tours do not include transportation since you will meet your Guide on site.  Meeting point information will be including on
    your Invoice or Voucher.

LOGGING AND MEALS

  1. We reserve the right to substitute hotels, if it should be necessary, from those mentioned in our itineraries.
  2. Breakfasts, luncheons, and dinners are included only as specified in the itineraries.
  3. If you require a special diet due to health condition, we should know it before submitting itineraries that include any type of meal.

ADMISSIONS AND FEES  

  1. Entertainment, special events, sightseeing tours, entrance fees, local guides, tips and service charge are included only as
    stipulated in the itinerary.
  2. Half or full day tours do not include tip to the driver or tour guide.
  3. Price for birding trips in El Yunque does not include entrance fee.

TOUR PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE  

  1. All items of a personal nature including wine, liquor, soft drinks, mineral water, laundry, items not on regular menus, accident and
    baggage insurance, end-of-tour gratuity to your tour manager, tour guide, driver; and for any personal service rendered and/or
    not included as part of the itinerary, and any items not specifically listed as included.
  1. AdvenTours acts only as agent of the hotels, bus, kayak, bike, and boat companies, restaurants or owner or contractors, or by
    persons in their employ, providing accommodations, transportation or other services.
  2. We are not responsible or liable for any act, injury, loss, death, accident, damage, delay, omission, irregularity or non-performance
    occurring in connection with these arrangements.
  3. AdvenTours reserves the right to decline or retain any person(s) as member of the tour at any time.
