.  This private adventure
combines a moderate effort hike in the less visited side of El Yunque during
daylight, where you can swim in a secluded river, a stop for dinner at the
Luquillo kioskos with a sunset kayak adventure at Laguna Grande in Fajardo.
An adventure not to be missed while in Puerto Rico! Join this fully guided
night trip into one of the most amazing natural phenomenons of the world!
Paddle your way into a mangrove archway canal leading to “Laguna
Grande.” There, you will meet our glowing friends, the Pyrodinium
Bahamense, a microscopic plankton capable of producing natural light
when disturbed!  
Minimum 2 participants (Monday - Saturday)

SK-002  EL YUNQUE NIGHT HIKE & LAGUNA GRANDE  (ÁRIABU)
Áriabu is our Signature Tour that combines two nocturnal activities:  El
Yunque Night Hike
and Laguna Grande Kayak Adventure.  Join Hilda,
Certified Interpretive Master Tour Guide and Trainer, in a low-impact one and a
half hour hike in search of our beloved newborn coquí.  Tarantulas, spiders,
lizards, scorpions, boas, and more.  A half hour drive will take us to Fajardo
where you will meet our glowing friends at Laguna Grande.
Reservations and non-refundable deposit are required in advanced.
Includes:  Guide, entrance fees, bottled water, light snacks after kayak
adventure.  Please bring a change of clothes.  A
minimum of 2 PAX is
required. Monday thru Thursday and Saturday.
$149 pp (from San Juan), $129 pp (from Luquillo) with private transportation
$080  pp on site (without transportation), starts at 6:00 PM

Interpretive Tour

Forest where you

Forest in terms of
biodiversity and
our culture,
specially the Taíno
Mythology, and
the connection
with another
coastal ecosystem,
Laguna Grande.
