With a limited geographic area, our avifauna consists of approximately
349 species of birds, of which 17 are endemic species. Around 120 of
these species breed in Puerto Rico, others overwinter in the archipelago.
The Caribbean region hosts 208 endemic bird species, we have 12% of
those endemic species, plus other Caribbean specialties.
Our birding trips are offered on a private basis, small groups and multiple
day packages. You will be hosted by Hilda Morales, owner and Naturalist
Guide. If you are looking for extra birding time or a birding package, visit

the best way to discover and explore Puerto Rican culture.
The best time to visit a real coffee plantation is during the months of
September thru December, depending on the season. Reservations
are a must since this program is offered only on a private basis. You
will visit a real coffee plantation still in production, not a museum.
Tour packages include overnight in restored coffee plantations, such
as La Hacienda Juanita (Maricao) and Hacienda Gripiñas (Jayuya).
