Curious about the theories of the discovery of Puerto Rico?
It was the year of 1493 when the Spaniards disembarked on the western
coast of the island of Borikén, the land of Yocahú Baguá Marocotí. Fifteen
years later, the colonization of the island began. With the socio-economical
growth of the region, new towns were established. Mayagüez was founded in
1760, and was later developed into a city port.
Join Hilda in this 1 1/2 hr. guided historical ecowalk. The tour includes a stop
at La Casa Grande Museum. Transportation available upon request.
A visit to Mayagüez is not complete without a comfortable guided city tour. We have three alternatives to explore the city. Join us!!!
