- Day 1 - Arrival, meet & greet. Trip starts at 1:00 PM
with pick-up at hotel or airport. A drive through the
scenic road of Piñones will take us to the small
town of Luquillo and for our home for the next two
nights, Hotel Yunque Mar. We will have an early
dinner at 5:30 PM where all participants will have
the opportunity to share experiences. At 6:30 PM
we depart to El Yunque National Forest for a low-
impact night hike (0.4 miles) that will introduce us
to the natural history of Puerto Rico and El Yunque.
We will be looking for glow in the dark fungi. Hiking
level: low-impact.
- Day 2 - After an early breakfast, we will go to
Vieques Island for a sightseeing tour of the island; i
ncluding stops at Isabel Segunda, La Hueca,
Esperanza, Black Beach, and Sun Bay. Once in
Fajardo, we will enjoy a kayak tour at Laguna
Grande looking for more glow in the dark micro-
organisms. Kayaking level: moderate.
- Day 3 - Start your day with a full early morning
breakfast before driving to El Yunque National
Forest. Full day at the Forest where you will be
able to experience the four types of forests. Our first
hike will be to Mt. Britton (0.8 miles), Los Picachos
(0.2 miles) and Pico El Yunque (2.4 miles). A picnic
style lunch at the Palo Colorado will wait for your
before your second hike of the day to La Mina Falls
through La Mina Trail and Big Tree Trail (1.5 miles)
. Hiking level: moderate to challenging to
strenuous. El Yunque Peak, 3,469 ft.; Los
Picachos, 3,175 ft.
- Day 4 - After breakfast, enjoy the fun of a quick HOP
over to Icacos Island for swimming and beach
exploration, then SKIP to Cayo Lobos for a
breathtaking snorkeling session followed by a
JUMP back to homeport - Fajardo. Ride back to the
coastal road with several beach stops on our way
to the hotel. Hiking level: low-impact, biking level:
moderate.

- Day 5 - Today we will go early in the morning to the
Old San Juan for a two hour historical walking tour.
After lunch, transfer to airport. If you are going to
extend your visit in Puerto Rico, we can drop off you
on selected hotel after lunch.
- Fun under the Sun, Moon, and the Stars!
- Experience culture and local cuisine with a
sustainable tourism approach while exploring
the eastern side of the Island.
- The purpose of this tour package is to have fun
while learning about Puerto Rico and its culture
while hiking, walking, biking or kayaking.
