Northeastern Ecological Corridor
ADVENTOURS operates tourism that fosters understanding, appreciation and conservation of the culture and environments of our country.  We operate in a socially and
environmentally responsible manner.  Our efforts are focused in the direct economic benefits that the community will have and the contribution to environmental and cultural
conservation awareness.  We aim to operate beyond best practice guidelines and will be monitoring our operations continuously.  With this in mind, we have selected a series of
low-impact, participative, educational, learning experiences.  Our
partners are residents of the seven municipalities in which we offer our services:  Luquillo, Río Grande, Fajardo,
Humacao, Naguabo, Culebra and Vieques.  We invite you to learn about our natural and cultural heritage through the eyes of one of our local Guides.

Your outdoor travel guide
for eastern Puerto Rico!
For the past twelve years we have been offering our
tour guiding and transportation services to the hotels
of the Northeastern region of Puerto Rico.

We obtained special permits from US Forest Service
to start a pilot program of night hikes and bicycling
adventures at El Yunque.  El Yunque is considered a
sacred land for all of us who believe in the Spirit of
the Forest, that´s why we combine the night hikes
with Taíno Areyto (dance) as we share with visitors
the natural history, ecology, and Wisdom, not only of
the Forest, but the Northeastern Ecological Corridor
(NEC) as well.
The NEC is one of
Puerto Rico´s last
remaining wild areas
with 3,200 acres of
coastal fringe between
the municipalities of
Luquillo and Fajardo. It
is home to over 40
endemic species
(endangered and
threatened), coral
communities, mangrove,
coastal pre-Columbian
forests, and a
bioluminiscent lagoon.
