| Magical Nights in El Yunque is a concept that was born in 2001 as an agreement between AdvenTours and the US Forest Service to offer the night hikes in El Portal de El Yunque where we have security, parking, restrooms, and an easy-moderate level effort trail. Our basic tour starts at 6:00 PM (7:00 PM during the Summer, June through August) with a short interpretive talk about El Yunque National Forest. While going to the entrance of the trail, we start identifying fauna and flora as the orchestral sounds of the Forest guide us on our journey. Safety measures are explained at the beginning of the trail. We supply small flashlights With the option of El Yunque Hybrid you combine the experience of seeing the Forest during daylight (EcoTour) and the night hike, or just dance under the star with the rhythm of Taíno drums on our Areytos, exclusively for private groups. |

| Due to the number of people visiting El Yunque National Forest during the Holy Week/Weekend (Wednesday through Sunday, including Good Friday and Easter) and the month of July (we have four holidays, July 4, July 17, July 25, and July 27), we DO NOT OFFER tours to El Yunque other than the Night Hike and/or Taíno Ceremony. Access to the Forest is limited and we cannot guarantee the quality on those days. |

| There is magic in the lonely, silent trails of the enchanted Forest when night arrives. Pamper yourself and energize your soul! Join our interpreter in this unique one and a half hour experience with Nature through El Portal Trail. Turn off the lights, listen to the sounds of silence and gaze at the stars. |
- For groups providing their own transportation, in order to keep the groups small, drivers and Guides travelling with
the group will not be allowed to join the hike. - We follow Green Globe and APIE Codes of Best Practices.
- We provide small flashlights which are mainly used for safety reasons and should be pointing to the ground.
- For flash pictures, please ask your Guide.
- For safety reasons, smoking is not allowed at any time.
- Gate at El Portal is closed by 5:00 PM, admittance to the facilities are available only for those people with reservations.
- A list with the names of all participants and drivers should be submitted at least two working days before the hike.

| Hilda took my husband and I on the night hike in El Yunque. I would recommend this to EVERYONE lucky enough to go to Puerto Rico. It is an amazing experience- the rain forest at night......bioluminescent organisms......coquis serenading you....do I really need to say any more?
