In 2001 a new tour concept at El Yunque was born. We agreed with Forest
Service Supervisor, Pablo Cruz, to design and offer something different with
ecological visitors on mind; this is how the night hike program started. This is
why AdvenTours, at this moment, is the only company with special permits to
conduct night hikes.
While many people were requesting the night hike, others were asking us to
combine on a private basis both the daylight (ecotour) and night hike. El
Yunque Hybrid combines both the experience of being in the Forest when
the big tour buses and crowds are gone, with the orchestral night sounds of
the habitants of the Forest.
