Learn about the biodiversity of the Forest in areas where the crowds
and tour buses not necessarily go. Due to the nature of the tour, it is
longer than other companies normal sightseeing tour. When we have
small groups or individuals, this program is offered by the owner of the
company, who is a Naturalist and Certified Interpretive Guide and Tour
Guide Trainer.

| During your visit you will learn about the conservation efforts to preserve the land of this unique tropical forest, the only tropical forest administered by the United States. Our trip includes: |
- *If the tour departs after 2 PM, there is a possibility that by the
time we arrive to those two attractions, they will be already closed. - We hold special permits to be in the Forest after 6 PM.
- scenic countryside roads
- sustainable tourism approach with communities in the
boundaries of the Forest - visit to a 80 years man-made forest
- you will appreciate the four types of forests within El Yunque
- you will also be introduced to Puerto Rico´s endemic micro fauna
and flora through our low-impact hike with a Naturalist Guide at
El Portal or Caimitillo Trail - plus, we will stop at: El Portal Visitors Center*, La Coca Falls,
Yocahú Observation Tower*, and Palo Colorado

| Due to the number of people visiting El Yunque National Forest during the Holy Week/Weekend (Wednesday through Sunday, including Good Friday and Easter) and the month of July (we have four holidays, July 4, July 17, July 25, and July 27), we DO NOT OFFER tours to El Yunque other than the Night Hike and/or Taíno Ceremony. Access to the Forest is limited and we cannot guarantee the quality on those days. |
